We woke up early to tear down our camp site. Chad rode his unloaded bike the 3.5 miles to Budget to pick up the van. The van is a sweet ride - leather interior, navigation, and what appears to be a black optics package with gun metal wheels and black headlight housings. We folded down the middle seats and were easily able to fit in our bikes and gear.

It felt good to be back on the road, especially now that we are able to cover so many more miles each day. It was also a bit sad that we are no longer bicycle touring but are car camping.

We drove through the Oregon bad lands for most of the day. They are seriously desolate but beautiful. You can see for miles and miles in all directions and the landscape alternates between deserty plateaus and prairies.

We arranged for an air bnb in Boise and arrived around dinner time. This is the first time we didn’t get a chance to meet our air bnb host, but the place was perfect for a good nights rest. On to Yellowstone tomorrow!
