We knew we had at least one more day in Bend as we waited for a rental car to be available, so we decided to check out a local cafe in the morning and get our relax on. (To be honest, I, Chelsea, was really struggling with having to end the trip. For me, most of the morning was spent trying to snap out of a bad mood. A chai latte and quiche at the cafe definitely helped).

From the window of the Tumalo coffeehouse, we saw a lot of cyclists go by, many of them stopping in for something to drink/snack on. We stayed there until lunch and asked the coffeehouse owner what she recommended for something to eat close to our camp site. She suggested The Bite, a food truck park down the road that featured 4 food trucks and a craft beer bar, all with indoor/outdoor seating. We went and got two of the biggest fajitas we’ve ever had. While we were enjoying our lunch, Budget called to say our car would be ready tomorrow morning! We headed back to the campsite and spent the afternoon planning our new route.

In the evening, after a meal of Yakisoba instant noodles, we took a stroll around the campground. It started to get cold, and we knew we had a long drive to Boise the next day, so we turned in early.
